About Us

IUT Montluçon was established in the late1960s, IUT stands for "Instituts universitaires de technologie" (University Institute of Technology) and it is a part of the Blaise Pascal University (Clermont-Ferrand 2 University) which is named after the famous Physicist, Mathematician and Philosopher Blaise Pascal, who was born in Clermont-Ferrand in 1623.

Over the past forty years the IUT has trained over 10,000 students and our graduates have demonstrated a strong ability to adept to the ever changing environment of the business world and also in the development of projects in science, engineering, management and technology.

In the IUT, the development of our students is of paramount importance to us and we provide a supportive learning environment for both  French and International students, as we greatly encourage international mobility and integration for both students and members of staff.
